JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Eureka Gardens Apartments.
Just the mention of the low-income housing complex and most people who've lived in Jacksonville for a while think one thing: crime.
Unfortunately, that's been the overriding theme every time Eureka Gardens is mentioned on the news.
Not today.
After holding Easter worship services at the apartment complex, Trinity Church members were so moved by the needs of the residents, the church wanted to do something special for them.
Today, the Trinity Rescue Mission unloaded dozens of items collected in donations to the church.
Everything from baby strollers and car seats to crutches and wheelchairs; mission organizers plan to distribute the goods tomorrow.

Trinity Rescue Mission has been feeding, clothing, and sheltering the homeless for over 40 years.
