ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Some animal rights advocates are protesting a South Florida restaurant's game.

The Royal Palm Ale House in Royal Palm Beach has a game that gives patrons a shot at winning a lobster from a tank of water. It uses a metal crane similar to ones used in game machines in which players try to win stuffed animals and other prizes.

The Animal Rights Foundation of Florida organized the protest, saying the lobsters feel pain by getting "bumped, poked, prodded and repeatedly tormented" by the machine's claw.

The machine's makers insist the game is gentle with the lobsters.
