JACKSONVILLE, FL -- A few weeks ago First Coast News showed our viewers how to download free coupons that can mean a tremendous savings in this tight economy.
Our viewers loved it. But for some, the download was not that easy. R.McQuiddy wanted us to know and send us an e-mail.
McQuiddy writes:
"I tried to print the free coupons and was instructed to download a small print application first. I clicked on OK and nothing happened. I tried it three times with the same result and now the two coupons that I had selected are no longer available."
Response:
McQuiddy, our IT Department says the problem appears isolated to your computer and suggests that you try again. As for the coupons of your choice they may still be available. The coupons are rotated routinely.
Our broadcast signals always generates a number of email. This is from Jim.
Jim writes:
"I has a professional install my DTV converter box and a new antenna, but I'm still having problems receiving channel 12. What is my problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated."
Response:
Jim, we need more information. If you're using an indoor antenna the reception may vary. We are at the lower end of the frequency spectrum and structures may affect the signal or reception.
John has a similar experience and he lives in St. Augustine.
John writes:
"You've been my favorite (station.) My question is, why is your WTLV-DT signal strength so poor? Is it your broadcast power level or frequency? As for your sister station WJXX-DT, I generally can't even acquire the signal."
John, our operating power is 100% as allowed by the FCC. After June 12th, when we turn off the analog signal, we will be able to increase our power even more. We need more information, such as what time of day the signal is weak, your geographical location, which channel, and a way to reach you. We will work to resolve the issue.
Call (904) 633-8803 if you have DTV questions.
