SEFFNER, FL -- Deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office have arrested a woman they say slammed her truck into a Seffner business.
Forty-four year old Lea Singleton was arrested outside the Scoreboard Lounge located at 11018 East US Highway 92 near Williams Road. They believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The accident happened Thursday afternoon. The owner of the business says there were 15 to 20 people inside at the time. Customers were eating at the bar and several employees were standing behind the bar. The impact of the crash sent debris flying as witnesses say the truck traveled about 25 feet inside the bar. They say Singleton backed out of the restaurant hitting a Corvette that was parked outside.
Singleton's passenger who hasn't been identified yet was also injured in the crash. Deputies say none of the injuries appear to be life threatening.
A woman who is six weeks pregnant was inside the bar too and was rushed to the hospital as a precaution.
