FLAGLER COUNTY, FL -- Six people are facing charges in a deadly home invasion in 2007.
Five members of the 'Bloods Gang' were arrested in October on state racketeering charges and the girlfriend of the identified gang leader are facing additional charges in connection with the December 2007 shooting death of a man from Palm Coast.
The Flagler County Sheriff's Office says the arrests culminate a 2-year joint investigation between the Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement into area gang activity.
The six people facing charges are 22-year old Brandon Washington; 23-year old Michael D'Angelo Gilbert; 23-year old Meghan Victoria Smith; 21-year old Christopher David Kee; 23-year old Paraskevas Hantzos; and, 21-year old Hector Echevarria.
