JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Abdul Ibrahimi is celebrating an interesting birthday today with all his 6th grade classmates at Southside Middle School.

It's not for him -- but there wouldn't be a party without him.

It was Abdul's amazing artwork that won his class the chance to throw a party, in honor of the Community Coffee Company's 90th anniversary.

Abdul entered the Louisiana company's art contest and won second place, beating out more than 1200 other entries from students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.

Abdul isn't the only one partying after winning a top spot in the contest.

The top 3 winners have all been awarded birthday parties to be celebrated with their respective classes.

Amber Johnese, a 6th grader from Baton Rouge is the first place winner, and gets a laptop for herself and one for her school (Glasgow Middle School).

Her design will be showcased on the front of the company's birthday card on it's WEB SITE.

The third place winner is Joe Knijn, a 4th grader from Broadmoor Elementary School in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Their designs will be showcased on the front of the company's birthday card on its WEB SITE.

The first place winner will also have her artwork on display at all of the company's Community Coffee House locations in Louisiana and Texas.

Every year since 1989, Community Coffee Company says its customers have helped raise money for schools across the Gulf Coast.

Its Community Cash for Schools program allows schools to earn money by collecting UPCs (bar codes) from the company's products and exchanging them for a cash donation to use on anything, from building improvements to books or musical equipment.
