JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Linda McGhee says she has waited seven years to have her home repaired by the Jacksonville's Housing Rehabilitation Program.
"I am not satisfied," says McGhee.
The $40,000 project has left her disappointed. McGhee says the painting in the kitchen is dismal, at best.
"There holes in the walls and the wall near the ceiling have two different colors," says McGhee.
The hallway near the bedrooms are also poorly painted. And when she talks about the exterior her anger increases.
"I want them to come and do it professionally, " says McGhee.
McGhee lives in the house with her 84-year old father. And now there's a ten year lien on the property.
An official with the City's Housing Services Division says they will meet with McGhee to review her concerns and have the subcontractor correct them.
