MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- A patient housed at a state mental hospital in Milledgeville was strangled Sunday. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said the suspect is a former DeKalb County jail inmate who was already facing charges for killing a fellow prisoner in January. GBI agents arrested thirty-year-old Saleeban Adan and charged him with the murder of fifty-one year-old Christopher Yates. Authorities said Adan was moved to Central State Hospital to determine if he was competent to stand trial in the Jan. 7 killing of Godfrey Cook at the jail.
