JACKSONVILLE, FL -- There's a way you can make prom night the special night it's designed to be for many disadvantaged girls on the First Coast. They need prom dresses and a collection drive is underway.

The Professional Women's Council is organizing the drive as one of their service projects. They need all sizes and the dresses should be new or gently used.

Lynn Bertram, the Executive Director of Pace Center for Girls and Eva Greenfield, the President of the Professional Women's Council talked to Patty Crosby on Good Morning Jacksonville about the prom dress drive. Click on the video to watch that interview.

You can drop off your donated gown at Hometown Threads inside Wal-Mart at Beach and Southside. Or you can take your dress directly to the Pace Center at 2933 University Boulevard North.

The drive runs until April 3rd.
