Biffle lets Kenseth take Spot in Nationwide

BRISTOL, Tenn. (AP) -- Greg Biffle has pulled out of the Nationwide Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway because he bruised his ribs.

Biffle says he was hurt while boating with friends. He says he jumped from the dock to the boat, and his foot slipped on a wet spot on the dock. He says he banged his right side on the side of the boat.

Matt Kenseth will replace his Roush Fenway Racing teammate in Saturday's race. Biffle is third in the Nationwide standings.
He is still on schedule to drive in Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol. Biffle is 10th in NASCAR's premier series
