MIAMI (AP) -- The Miami Dolphins acquired DT Tony McDaniel on Friday for an undisclosed 2009 draft pick.
McDaniel has made 38 tackles and 1.5 sacks in three NFL seasons. The 6-foot-7, 310-pound lineman played 10 games for the Jaguars in 2008, starting three.
The 24-year-old played college ball at Tennessee, and had 10 tackles and one-half sack last season.
