VERO BEACH, FL (AP) -- Authorities say the four children left behind after their parent's murder-suicide were excited to move to Florida. Indian River County authorities say 28-year-old Renada Lucas recently moved to the Vero Beach area from Georgia to start a new life. She was divorced from 37-year-old Ronniel Lonol. Authorities say the couple was arguing on Friday when Lucas got into a car. Before she could start it, authorities say her ex-husband pulled out a gun and fired through the window. She was hit in the chest. Authorities say Lonol pulled the victim out of the car and shot her in the head. He then shot himself. The mother died at the scene. Lonol died while being taken to a hospital. The family was from Newington, Ga., 187 miles from Atlanta.
