JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The family of a woman who had been in the hospital since a fire at her home Friday afternoon tells First Coast News she passed away Saturday evening.
Relatives tell us 56-year-old Erin Hardenbrook died at Shands at 7:30 p.m.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at her home in the 200 block of West 41st Street around 2 p.m Friday.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue officials say Hardenbrook crawled out of her wheelchair towards the door and collapsed.
Investigators say the fire may have started from a space heater.
