
JACKSONVILLE, FL -- People on the First Coast have many valuable items in their house just waiting to be discovered.
First Coast News worked with local appraiser Barbara Langston to help First Coast News viewers find out if they have trash or treasure among their belongings.
Donna Lewis submitted a picture of her mantle clock. Langston says it is American made with a mahogany finish from around the 1920's. She appraises the value around $150.
Lori Rose wanted to know how much her 14k gold charm bracelet was worth. It weighs 67grams. Langston says just valued on the gold weight alone it's worth about $1,070.
April Meeks submitted pictures of her armoire bought for $500 by her husband at a yard sale. Langston says it's worth about $2,500.
Lisa and Scott Miller have a large Coke Village among their Christmas decorations. Langston says some coke collections can be valuable. She says this particular coke village is worth about $100 for each piece.
Gwenn Wilds has a doll given to her by her uncle when she was just 3-years-old. He bought the doll while in Japan during World War II. Langston says even its slightly wore condition it's worth about $225 to $250.
The most impressive appraisal was for John MacDonald's vase. It's been in his family for several decades. Langston says it appears to be a Dresden or Meissen piece. It was likely made between 1860 to 1880. Even with a crack on the back, Langston says its worth $12,000 to $15,000
