JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Living green is more than a trend for many people, it's a lifestyle. Now consumers can get a green version of almost any product. And that is result in stores that are filled only with environmental friendly and safe products.

Mylene D'Arelli recently opened her new store Green Dwellers in Plantation, FL. Everything in the store is safe for people and pets, plus good for the environment.

The products include things such as non-toxic toys, 100% raw silk products, soy candles and 100% bamboo-fiber sheets.

There are pencils from recycled newspapers, furniture using sustainably harvested trees, and baby bottles with less toxic plastic.

"I wish I had this for my babies," says D'Arelli. "But this is a much healthier bottle for our babies today."

The development of this green-only store came after D'Arelli was looking for alternative products for herself and was surprised by all she found.

But she says the store isn't about "living green" in every single aspect of life.

"I subscribe to a 'light green' living," says D'Arelli. "I don't believe we need to overhaul our whole lifestyles. But I do believe that we can start by making little changes in improving our health."

She says every person who comes to the store gets 'green 101' education.

Green products are improving so quickly that consumers don't have to sacrifice comfort and luxury anymore.

"I have great things that you'd want in your home even if you weren't green," says D'Arelli. Items such as bamboo-fiber sheets, organic cotton linens, and healthy pillows.
