JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Many of the First Coast roads were wet during Wednesday morning commute. In the middle of the rain there was a crash that caused delays on Interstate 95 in the downtown.
The accident happened around 6:15 a.m. on I-95 southbound near the Philips Highway exit in downtown. The crash blocked at least one traffic lane.
Florida Highway Patrol Troopers were also called to another crash that happened in the traffic backup.
Southbound traffic was heavy on I-95 through downtown until around 7:30 a.m.
No word yet on what caused the crashes.
