JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The Florida Highway Patrol has re-opened the all lanes of Interstate 10 after a semi lost control and caused a major crash Wednesday morning.
The crash happened in the eastbound lanes near the Chaffee Road exit around 6:30 a.m. FHP says the semi crash caused several smaller collisions in the area. They also say weather possibly played a factor.
Crews worked for two hours to clear the wreckage.
No word on the extent of injuries.
Eastbound traffic was backed up for several miles.
