JACKSONVILLE, FL -- There is a new generation at work now and it's causing the look of the workplace to change. Many businesses are opting for a more causal environment. And that has some women kickicg the constraining pantyhose.

"They're not really the most comfortable thing," says Abby Elstad, who says "not" to hose.

Some many say it's much more comfortable to get a tan and let your legs go free of nylons. That has many pairs of no nonsense pefect leggs staying on the store shelf.

Etiquette Expert Joy Weaver says she is seeing the decline of the pantyhose in the business woman's wardrobe. Brought in in large part by the newer generations.

Weaver says, "Generation Y an d Generation X they're like, 'Eee, you know what, I have never worn them before and it's never been a problem so why should we wear them now?'"

When the temperatures rise there are even more reasons to kick the hose.

"I'm in and out of the office a lot especially during the summer months," says Megan Kotter. "It's so warm that it is just a little more comfortable not to be in them all day."

"It's pretty hot outside, so no panty hose...mmmm, not so much," says Elstad.

But Weaver says there are certain occasions where woman should still wear pantyhose.

"If you are going on an interview, if you are going to be presenting on stage, make sure to use good judgment and wear pantyhose," says Weaver.
