JACKSONVILLE, FL -- An SUV flipped over on the Wilson Boulevard, trapping the driver.
Officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office say a red SUV was in the westbound lanes of Wilson Blvd. The driver turned left onto the I-295 on-ramp.
Police say a car heading westbound on Wilson t-boned the SUV. The SUV flipped over.
Police say the driver of the SUV weighed over 300 lbs. and was trapped in the vehicle.
It took emergency crews about 30 minutes to get the person out of the SUV. The driver is doing fine now.
But no one was hurt in the crash.
Police say the driver of the red SUV was cited for failure to yield.
All lanes of Wilson Blvd. are open again.
