Riders Can Voice Their Opinions About JTA Route Changes

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Riders who use the JTA buses can voice their opinions about proposed route changes.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority has proposed a list of possible schedule changes to begin on August 25th.

But first they are holding public hearings to explain the transit changes.

Wednesday, July 23rd there is a meeting at the Gateway Mall Annex at 5258 Norwood Avenue.

Monday, July 28th there will be a meeting at Lake Lucina Elementary at 6527 Merrill Road.

The meetings are from 5 to 7 p.m. There will first be a chance for citizens to review plans and ask questions. Then in the last hour JTA will present the proposal and riders will be able to comment on the changes.
