JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Could the key to looking young be in one tiny jar? Greek Island Labs, the creators of the Athena 7 Minute Facelift say the clear creme gives you tighter skin without surgery.

It is an all natural product that uses a combination of different organic oils. It's applied thinly to the face with a wet brush.

Esthetician Summer Perry, with Summer Skin Institute uses the 7 Minute Facelift on clients.

"It can firm and tighten the skin," says Perry. "It will also diminish some wrinkles."

Perry says you can apply it under or over makeup. "It lasts about 10-12 hours," says Perry. "Some people use it everyday and others on only special occasions."

First Coast News wanted to see if the 7 Minute Facelift really worked. So we had several viewers try out the clear creme.

Judy Kinnecom is in her late 60s. She has tried the creme recently at a family wedding.

"My sister-in-law of 45 years said to me 'what have you been doing to your face you look so much young,'" recalls Kinnecom. "The only thing I have done to my face is apply the 7 Minute Facelift creme.

Ruth Carlson also in her 60s was surprised by the changes. "It feels tighter it really does," says Carlson.

Bridget Wagner, who stays up late with a new baby, saw a difference under her eyes.

"I had circles, dark circles under my eyes and she (Summer Perry) said you could already see it lifting up," says Wagner. "I can tell a difference."

A couple of men also tried the creme. It's clear so men can wear it without anyone knowing.

The ladies immediately noticed firmer, tighter skin for Patrick Golden.

Karol Holiday, who is in her late 30s, says she regularly uses the product. She notices a difference most on her forehead and in between her eyes.

The creme goes on very thinly but most of the people said they could feel their skin tightening. And not everyone liked that feeling.

"I feel like I have makeup on now and I don't like that feeling," says Alayna Oram, who tried the product for the first time.

One other thing we noticed is that on several people the 7 Minute Facelift took more than 7 minutes to work.

"For some people it takes more like 10 or 15 minutes and sometimes even 30 minutes to work," says Perry.

Athena 7 Minute Facelift is sold at various locations and the price may very. Summer Perry sells it through her company the Summer Skin Institute in St. Augustine for about $89.

Perry says if you use it regularly the jar should last at least 2 months.
