ST. AUGUSTINE, FL -- The Bridge of Lions temporary bridge will be closed for 12 hours starting at 6 p.m. tonight, April 21st.
The bridge is expected to be open for traffic by 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Officials with Florida's Department of Transportation say the close is necessary to accommodate a large placement of concrete at one of the Bridge of Lions' piers.
Drivers can use the S.R. 312 bridge as an alternate.
The rehabilitation project began February 2005 and is expected to be finished in the Fall of 2009.
