
By Steve Smith First Coast News JACKSONVILLE, FL--Sunday brings a return to January type temperatures around Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. The days will start near 40 with afternoon highs at or above 60 degrees. By Wednesday highs will reach the upper 60s.
The Jet Stream will dip into northern Florida by Sunday. This will pull down some unseasonably cold air from Canada and could bring morning temps to near record lows. Here's how the begining of the week will shape up:
Sunday: Cloudy and a little misty at the start high only 70. The day should begin in the mid 50s.
Monday: Starts at 42(record is 40), afternoon high near 60 with partly cloudy skies.
Tuesday: 40 is the temp that starts the day(record is 39). Lake City and Waycross could be in the upper 30s, look for afternoon highs near 60.
Wednesday: Just a little warmer, morning low 42(record is 39), afternoon high 68 with sunny skies.
Thursday we are back in the mid 70s.
