Crash with Critical Injuries near Duval/Nassau County line

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Duval and Nassau County rescue crews are on the scene of a serious crash on Plummer Rd. It happened before 9 a.m. Monday near the Nassau / Duval County line. Traffic homicide detectives are on scene.

Tom Francis with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department says a car hit a tree. He added, two people have critical injuries. They were taken to the hospital by ambulance instead of medical helicopter due to the weather.

Drivers will likely see delays while the investigation continues. No word yet on if any lanes are blocked.
