According to his parents, Michael Jason Linder, who was driving the truck Sunday, was on life support pending an organ harvesting operation at 3 p.m. At 9:20 p.m. Monday, he was pronounced dead. Eighteen-year-old Megan Elizabeth Bunn, who was also in the truck, died Sunday. Three others in the truck, which had an extended cab, survived the crash. Bunn, Linder, and Shyenne Alexander Morgan, 17, of Jacksonville were sitting in the front of the car. She was taken to Shands with serious injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol said an ambulance going south on Philips Highway near Interstate 95 turned into the path of the truck, causing the collision between the pickup and the ambulance Sunday night. Linder went to the hospital with critical injuries. The FHP said Linder and Bunn were not wearing seatbelts. Alcohol test results are pending. Many friends have gathered today at Linder's house. Although, no one wanted to be identified, they acknowledged that it was a very difficult time for all of them. The two people in the Liberty Ambulance went to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the ambulance, Brian Wayne Gray, 25, is still in serious condition. The passenger, Julie Raymer, 44, is in stable condition. Register to be an organ donor or to print out an organ donor card.
