
JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Two westbound lanes on I-10 have reopened, after a fatal accident on the interstate.
Florida Highway Patrol tells First Coast News the accident involved a semi truck driver from Jacksonville, 47-year-old Steven Stoff.
Troopers say around 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Stoff was changing lanes when the vehicle began slipping counterclockwise on the wet roadway. The semi flipped in the median, killing the passenger. She has been identified as 44-year-old Laura Buelow.
Just thirty minutes after the fatal accident on I-10, there was an accident with injuries on the 295 exit.
FHP has not released what caused the crash.
