CAMP BLANDING, Fla. -- An infantry regiment training at Camp Blanding may cause some residents to hear explosions.
The Camp Blanding Joint Training Center will play host to the Florida Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 124th Infantry Regiment. The soldiers will be firing 60mm, 81mm and 120mm mortars during their annual training at the base.
The training is scheduled to take place June 6th through 10th. It is scheduled to last from 7:30 a.m. to midnight each day.
