Over twenty firefighters battled a wildfire in the Keystone Heights area in Clay County Monday morning, emergency management officials say.
The fire was reported on the 5500 block of Smith Street and Jefferson Street and is estimated to be between 5 and 7 acres.
This wildfire was at the same spot of the Caribbean Circle fire from March 2012 that grew to about 150 acres - taking one home in its path.
Firefighters had the flames under control around 12:47 p.m. and no one was injured.
Fire officials are asking that every person be mindful of debris fires, follow all forestry rules and never leave a fire unattended.
