Students trying to raise money to attend academic decathlon

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--Maybe you can help.

First Coast News was tipped off that some students at the Christ's Church Academy are trying to go to Minnesota for a national competition, but they need money to get there.

One of the students, Neal Buckles, told FCN about his team. The five students and two adults are trying to go to Minneapolis for the US Academic Decathlon.

This is their 4th year in a row as the only representatives of Florida.

Problem: They need to raise about $5,000 to be able to go in April.
