JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for suspects in a Thursday night robbery.
According to a JSO press release, officials responded to at a liquor store in the 3600 block of Emerson Street at about 7:10 p.m.
The victim told police that an unknown man approached as she was walking to the store. She was looking for money in her purse when the suspect allegedly grabbed the purse and ran with the money.
The suspect was reportedly ran west on Emerson Street while the victim ran after him in attempt to recover the cash.
The suspect arrived at a gas station in the 3500 block of Emerson Street. The victim confronted him and he allegedly said he had a gun, although he didn't show one.
A short time later, the suspect was picked up by an older, white Toyota Camry driven by a blonde-haired woman with a medium build. The vehicle was also occupied by three minor children who was in the back seat.
