JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Salvation Army is serving up a traditional hot Thanksgiving Day meal for anyone in need on Thanksgiving at The Salvation Army's Towers Social Services Center, located at 900 W. Adams Street in downtown Jacksonville.

Nearly 400 people are expected to come and enjoy turkey and all the trimmings at the Army's annual Thanksgiving Day event. The doors open at 1:00 pm and all are welcome, according to a news release from the organization.

Over 100 volunteers are helping prepare and serve the meal.
