MACON, Ga. -- A grand jury in central Georgia has handed down an indictment accusing a Macon woman of killing her 11-year-old granddaughter, who was found dead in a van.

The Bibb County grand jury issued the indictment charging 49-year-old Cynthia Diane Baldwin-McClesky with murder and cruelty to children.

The body of Ruth Baldwin was found in July inside a van parked at an urgent care center. The Telegraph reports that autopsy results show the girl died of blunt force trauma, dehydration and starvation.

Baldwin-McClesky is being held in the Bibb County Jail. Jail records do not indicate whether she has an attorney.
