JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a number of sport bike-type motorcycles stolen recently from Jacksonville apartment complexes.

Sheriff's Office, said JSO received 11 reports of stolen sport type
motorcycles.
The thefts occurred at apartment complexes around Jacksonville.
Bujeda offered the following tips to owners of similar style motorcycles:
- Park the bike indoors/garage if possible (best defense)
- Lock the bike with a chain to something that is a secured/fixed object.
- Install an anti-theft device on the bike (Lojack, GPS, etc.)
- Park the bike in a visible area that is well lit.
