JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- John Delaney is easily one of the most recognizable people in Jacksonville.
He was a two-term mayor and is now the President of the University of North Florida. But is there something even he doesn't know about himself?
John Delaney can trace his family back to the 1800s. His family moved here from Michigan when he was in high school and he knows that he's part Irish, English, Dutch and Danish. But could there be more?
"Well, we're not gonna give him 1 line, 2 lines but 8 lines and where all of his ancestors may have migrated from," says Jean Ginn from Arc Point Labs in Jacksonville.
This particular lab does paternity and drug testing. The DNA Ancestry testing is new to them. First Coast News paid to get the results of John Delaney's test. We'll reveal the results Nov. 21st at 11 p.m.
