JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Thanks to a partnership between USA Hockey and Jacksonville Ice and Sportsplex anyone who would like to try their skills at ice hockey will have the chance to do so for free.
Saturday, November 3 is deemed National Try Hockey for Free Day across the country.
In Jacksonville at Jacksonville Ice and Sportsplex from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. skaters of all ages may come and skate, shoot, pass and experience the game of ice hockey all for free.
The first 40 participants will receive a free hockey jersey from the Jacksonville Ice and Sportsplex Youth Hockey Department.
