Robin Roberts checks into the hospital: 'Onward'

Robin Roberts is starting her bone marrow transplant treatment.

On Monday, she shared with her Twitter followers:

"My last tweet for awhile. Heading to hospital...time to focus on healing. I take each & every one of you w/me in my heart. Light and love."

And on her ABC blog and Facebook, she writes:

"Holding a picture of my two guardian angels..mom and dad.

The journey continues today as I head to the hospital and begin the process of returning to full health.

Grateful to those who have shared their stories with me.

As momma use to say: "We all got somethin'!"

Lifting you up as you have for me...This too shall pass.
