PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- A Florida newspaper is reliving the old joke about being black white and read all over.

The Panama City News Herald in its Monday editions decided to celebrate its 75th anniversary by making the paper look like it did in 1937.

The front section and the sports section of the newspaper featured current stories but in black and white with no color. The throwback concept also extended to the ads included in the two sections, although another section of the paper was still in color.

Mike Cazalas, the editor of the newspaper, called it a crazy and unique way of getting people's attention about the newspaper's birthday.

The paper is celebrating its birthday in other ways, including putting together a commemorative pictorial book.
