JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect who robbed a Wells Fargo on Wednesday afternoon. No one was hurt in the incident and the suspect did not get any money.
At 4:12 p.m., a black male entered the location at 1336 Edgewood Avenue West carrying a black bag, according to Lt. Derrick Lewis with the JSO robbery division.
The man showed the clerk a note asking for $50,000 and stating he had a bomb, Lewis said.
The clerk refused to give any money to the suspect and he then left the bank because he was attracting a lot of attention.
The suspect is described as 5'6" to 5'9", 200 to 220 lbs and wearing a red hat and a white T-shirt.
Lewis said an arrest should be made soon. The robbery was not related to the one at a Wells Fargo on Beach Boulevard on Tuesday.
