SATSUMA, Fla. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has arrested four people in connection to a burglary that happened August 11.

Police were called to reports of a burglary to a shed in the 300 block of Daniel Boone Avenue at 9 a.m. that morning, according to a news release from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

The owner of the property told police someone broke into their storage shed and took an air conditioner, a chain saw and a can of gas.

The homeowner told police a teenager had done some yard work for them the day before and may have had knowledge that the items were in the shed.

Deputies then interviewed the 17-year-old who had done the yard work.  As a result of that interview, the release said, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office arrested the 17-year-old, another 16-year-old and two adults: James Williams, 43, and Patrick Tripp, 22.

The two teens were booked on charges of burglary and larceny and later released to their parents.

Williams and Tripp were taken to the Putnam County Jail where they were booked on one count of burglary and one count of larceny each.  Both have a bond of $3,008.
