DALTON, Ga. -- Authorities say a man wanted in the killing of his wife and her grandfather has been arrested a week after their bodies were found.
The Chattanooga Times Free Press reports that 49-year-old Adolph Ray "Sonny" Neal was found Thursday near where he was spotted walking along Highway 201 in Whitfield County the previous day. Neal faces charges in the deaths of 27-year-old Jessica B. Neal and 69-year-old Don William Shedd.
Local, state and federal authorities had been searching for Neal since the two bodies were found. Police said Shedd's body was found May 24 by Jessica Neal's 9-year-old daughter.
Authorities have not said how the two were killed but officials have called the deaths extremely violent.
Family members said the couple was having marital problems.
