JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A woman went into a bank, fired several shots from a gun into the ceiling and demanded money.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, that's what happened this morning shortly after 9 at the Synovus Bank on Lane Avenue north of Normandy Boulevard.
An employee told police the suspect walked in and screamed, "Give me the money," before shooting three times as she walked toward a teller.
She took the money and left the bank.
A surveillance camera captured an image of the suspect.
