At least 8 people involved in Verizon store burglary, deputies say

A Verizon store and a liquor store on County Road 210 were burglarized Wednesday morning by at least eight people, according to surveillance footage released by deputies, and authorities want your help to find them.

Surveillance cameras in the Verizon store caught eight people heading into the store after hours, grabbing two iPads and a customer's phone before heading out to help other people robbing the Rivertown Fine Wine and Spirits store next door, a sheriff's office incident report shows.

A St. Johns County Sheriff's deputy got to the liquor store just after 5 a.m. to meet up with the owner of the liquor store, who reportedly noticed several things missing from his store.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call St. Johns County Sheriff's Office detective Kyle Braid at 904-824-8304.
