CLAY COUNTY, Fla.- One person was grazed by a bullet in the 400 block of Taylor Avenue by an unknown suspect for an unknown reason.
According to the police report, when police showed up to the residence and knocked on the door, no one responded. But the first victim, Joseph Taylor came walking up.
Taylor told police that he woke up to gunshots and bright flashes of white light. Taylor said he ran out of the house through the backdoor. He did not know who was shooting. With Taylor's permission police entered the home and found three people inside asleep.
Police saw holes in the wall that "may have been possibly made by projectiles entering into the residence through the wall."
Taylor was grazed on his hand and foot by a bullets during the incident and he refused medical attention.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office says the shooting is an on-going investigation.
