Royal Australian Navy Acceptance into Service Ceremony at NAS Friday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- The Royal Australian Navy 725 Squadron, based at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, will officially accept their first two MH-60R Seahawk helicopters in a ceremony at NAS Jacksonville Friday morning.

The Acceptance into Service Ceremony will include guest speakers Rear Admiral Steve Gilmore, head of Australian Defense Staff and Rear Admiral Sinclair Harris, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/4th Fleet.

RAN-725 aircrew and maintenance personnel have been training aboard the station and with HSM-40 at Naval Station Mayport for the past 12 months as part of the U.S. Navy Foreign Military Sales Program.
