Police find missing child from Camden County

UPDATE:

Missing Juvenile, Augusta Underwood, has been located.  She is safe and unharmed.  She is now being returned to her family.

 

ORIGINAL STORY:

Camden County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are looking for a missing Juvenile. Augusta Underwood, 12-year-old white female, last seen in the area of Old Still Road in Camden County.

Augusta is 5 feet 5 inches tall, 142 pounds, has shoulder-length blonde hair and bluish-green eyes, and has a small scar beneath her chin. She was last seen wearing a blue hoodie but unknown color of pants.

If you see this juvenile call (912) 729-1442 the non-emergency line for Camden County Sheriff’s Office.

Augusta left the school bus she was riding home on and ran into a wooded area in the area of Walk About RV Park.

The search area is in the vicinity of Interstate 95 and Exit 7 near the Harriette’s Bluff exit. Deputies are searching the area for bloodhound teams in an effort to locate Augusta Underwood.

She has in the past attempted to do herself harm.
