One Spark: Leaders heading into final day

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Sunday marks the end of One Spark. The crowdfunding festival that began Wednesday and has drawn over 235,000 people to downtown will tally the votes, and announce winners at a ceremony in Hemming Plaza from 5 to 7 p.m.

Here are the crowd voting leaders in each category, in no particular order, as listed on the One Spark blog:

Art - Project Atrium, Our Wilderness in Watercolor and Saving Norman Studios!!.

Innovation - Conscious Market, The Intelligent Helmet –Solution to Concussion and TBI Related Issues, and The Meatrix System Meat Analyzer.

Music - Sidereal 2014 Takeover, The Big Band Project and Fjord Explorer.

Science - Cognitive Clubhouse, Neuroinitiative – Inside the Neuron!, and Piezoelectric Wind Energy Harvesting for Powering of Wireless Sensor Networks in Remote Locations.

Technology - Partpic: Visual Recognition for Replacement Parts, Flip Our Class and Wazinit.

Voting ends at 3 p.m.

Road closures, parking for One Spark

One Spark will announce the winners of $310,000 in guaranteed crowdfunds and cash awards at the closing ceremony. Eleven $10,000 checks will also be handed out.

The top 3 finalists in each category will pitch live to Jurors "Shark Tank" style at the Community First Pitch Deck at Hemming Plaza.

Jurors will award one $10,000 prize to one winner in each of the five categories. Winners will also receive entry and airfare to One Spark Berlin.
