
PALM COAST, Fla. -- Has it been ten years already?
It has indeed.
Saturday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m., the City of Palm Coast will celebrate the ten year anniversary of its incorporation.
"Our Dynamic Decade" will be held in Town Center and runs until 6 p.m.
Santa will be on hand for the timely party, along with plenty of other music and entertainment.
Here is a list of scheduled activities:
- 2 p.m. - Flagler Palm Coast High School Jazz Band
- 3 p.m. - A Salute to the City of Palm Coast
- 3:35 p.m. - Imagine Spirit Team Cheer
- 4:20 p.m. - Flagler Palm Coast High School Dance Group
- 4:40 p.m. - Youth Holiday Solo Jams
- 5:30 p.m. - Flagler County High School's Candle Light Choir
There will be games for families, bounce houses for the kids, an antique car show for the grownups and refreshments for everyone.
A donation of a non-perishable food item gets you a raffle ticket for free gifts.
Once the party ends, the parade begins...the annual Holiday Starlight Parade, featuring floats and marching bands.
The fun doesn't even end there.
The movie "Polar Express" will be shown in Central Park once the parade ends; be sure to bring a blanket.
The 10-year-old town now has 74,000 residents, so don't be late!
