
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It's never too early to learn about helping others.
That's why a group of preschoolers will be heading to the supermarket, and they're going with their own money!
Children from Primrose Schools have been doing extra chores at home to earn money for the shopping spree, and they more recently put together their shopping lists.
The four and five-year-olds will be buying groceries for the Second Harvest North Florida on Thursday, November 19.
It's part of the school's "Caring and Giving" program, aimed at teaching the children math, nutrition and planning skills.
If you're at the Publix in Fruit Cove that day and think something's a bit off, nope.
It's just preschoolers grocery shopping.
No word yet on who gets to ride in the cart and who has to push.
