
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It's time for funnel cakes, corn dogs, farm animals and the Blue Angels!
The Greater Jacksonville Fair is now underway and runs for 12 days and nights.

The City of Jacksonville is also hosting the 2009 Week of Valor. The week began Wednesday when the Blue Angels arrived, and will last through Nov. 11, with the Veterans Day Parade.

The Hart Bridge will remain closed November 2-16, 2009. Here is a list of scheduled work times:
- Weekdays Monday - Thursday, daytime 9:00 am -3:30 pm, the contractor will be working with one lane closure (northbound/right lane).
- Weekdays Monday - Thursday, nighttime 12:00 (midnight) - 6:00 am, the contractor will be working with a complete closure and detour....the detour will be Hart Bridge Expressway at Hart Bridge to the Matthew Bridge, Northbound and Southbound.
- Friday - Sunday - both day and night the contractor will not be working and the there will not be any closures.
- On the last day of the Fair, November 16th, the contractor will be allowed to work as if it were a regular contract day. Daytime lane closure (northbound/right lane), 9:00 am - 7:00 pm. and Nighttime Detour 7:00 pm - 6:00 am.
