LAKE CITY, FL -- Police say he called in a fake prescription, but he didn't get what he expected when he got to the drive-thru.

According to the Lake City Police Department, Monday morning, the CVS Pharmacy on Main Boulevard got a call they thought was fraudulent, so they followed up with some phone calls of their own.

The first call was to the doctor's office in Lake Butler that had allegedly phoned in the prescription for 60 Hydrocodone pills for Kelly Hall.

Doctors there said they had done no such thing. The next call was to police.

When 19-year-old Kelly Hall came to the drive-thru, he tried to pay for his prescription, but police were already waiting for him.

Police say Hall admitted to the crime and was arrested.

He faces charges of forgery of a prescription and passing of a forged instrument.
